Construction Products Regulation (the CPR) has been published in the OJEU on 4 April 2011. Pursuant to its Article 68, it has entered into force on 24 April 2011.
- Implementation of Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union
Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as laid down in the Treaty of Lisbon signed on 13 December 2007' (hereinafter "the new Treaty"), allows the legislator to delegate to the Commission the power to adopt non-legislative acts of general application to supplement or arnend certain non-essential elements of a legislative act. Legal acts adopted by the Commission in this way are referred to in the terminology used by the new Treaty as "delegated acts" (Article 290(3)). - Download Art. 290
