• EDSF is the European Door and Shutter Federation.

• EDSF was formed in 1985 by national manufacturers associations to support and promote harmonised standards for doors and shutters in Europe.

• EDSF represents the European door and shutter industry position in formal meetings with:

- European Commission,
- CEN-committees,
- European regulator groups
- Notified test and certification bodies
- Other relevant international organisations.

What is EDSF about?

• EDSF members share information, experience and knowledge about product performance and safety, installation and maintenance.

• EDSF promotes the state of the art for doors and shutters following the essential requirements imposed by European Directives in respect of health and safety.

• EDSF provides networking facilities across Europe for door and shutter manufacturing and service organisations.
