A Declaration of Conformity which, in the case of doors
and shutters, can be related back to the product by the
application of a unique door reference number, has to be
delivered together with the product.
This declaration permits the application of the CE symbol
which has to be accompanied by documentary evidence to confirm
which characteristic(s) and, where applicable, to what level
they are covered by the mark.
This information can be detailed on a label to accompany
the mark or presented in handover documentation.
The product standards for doors and shutters will specify
labelling requirements.
