Folding door

Door with two or more hinged leaves, guided and /or supported at the top and/or at the bottom. The first leaf is hinged to the frame. Door leaves can be hinged only to one side of the frame or on both sides. Note: The guidance can be on the centre line of the leaves or on one hinge line. 

 

Hinged door

Door with a leaf which is hinged or pivoted at one side which only opens one way.

 

 

Rolling shutter door

Door with a leaf comprising multiple interconnected laths.

 

 

Sectional overhead door

Door which opens vertically with a door leaf comprising a number of horizontally interconnected sections.The storage in the open position can be:

  • vertical,
  • horizontal,
  • at an angle,
  • stacked or folded vertically or
  • folded horizontally.

Sliding door

Door leaf, moving horizontally in its guides. 

 

 

Sliding foldind door

Folding door with the first leaf not hinged to a fixed position, leaving all leaves free to move in the guidance system. 

 

Swing door

Door with a leaf which is hinged or pivoted at one side which opens both ways. 

 

 

Vertical folding door

Door with a vertically guided two-part hinged leaf, which folds upwards for opening. 

 

 

Vertical slidind door

Door with one or more vertically guided leaves which are raised and/or lowered in bi-parting, bi-passing or multi-passing (telescopic) format. 

 

 

Rapid action door

Door with a leaf comprising flexible elements or curtain designed for rapid operation.
